About Us.jpg) PondLifeStudios is a high quality mobile digital recording facility. Our portable equipment means we can set up pretty much anywhere. Recent jobs have included woodlands, churches, front rooms, farmhouse kitchens and 'proper' studio spaces. Our producer/engineer, Matt "SpaceGoat" Tweed has years of recording experience, working with many different styles and situations. As in-house producer at Dave (Sex Pistols) Goodman's Mandala studios in London he has worked with artists as diverse as the UK Subs, Polly Styrene and Benjamin Zephanier and on projects with members of Ozric Tentacles, Cockney Rebel and Sham 69 amongst others. Jobs have ranged from rock, electronica, country and western and acoustic crossover via traditional English folk. Also a skilled musician, he can bring extra sparkles to your music with sitar, boozooki, various guitars, fretted and fretless basses, bodrhan, hand-drums and assorted percussion. In addition we have a roster of brilliant players available for session work, so if you need a hint of strings, a bit of brass or a meaty drummer to pound the skins for you, chances are we can find someone to suit. Each recording is a unique event, and it is PondLife's aim to give the most pleasurable experience of the creative process together with a glorious end result. |
